DOGS OF THE COMOX VALLEY,
WE NEED YOU!
In 2022, we went on our first mission to go BIGGER. We joined forces and invited pet photographers around the world to help us fundraise for pet rescues with one big, beautiful coffee table book.
The project was a huge success. We repeated it in 2023 and 2024, and to date we have raised over $170,000 for animal charities by photographing over 2000 dogs from around the world.
So we are at it again for Tails of the World: 2025 Edition.

Featuring 10 dogs from the Comox Valley!
In 2023 Fit Fido Furtography became the Comox Valley’s official Tails of the World book series photographer and I am honoured to say I am participating again for 2025!
I will be looking for a variety of fun and friendly dogs who’d like to represent the Comox Valley in this worldwide book project to raise money for animal rescue charities!
Tails of the World is an international collective of Professional Pet Photographers who raise funds for their local animal charities.
I am one of the dedicated photographers worldwide participating in the fundraising project – Tails of the World: The Book Series! One big, beautiful coffee table book featuring stunning pet portraiture from artists all around the globe – AND book proceeds are donated to animal rescue charities.
These outdoor sessions will take place around the beautiful Comox Valley capturing the multitude of gorgeous backdrops. One portrait from each session will be included in the Tails of the World Book. You’ll also have the opportunity to view and purchase your own photographic keepsakes and artwork from our session.

Limited Edition Session
-Minimum $100 Donation with 100% of the money raised being donated to Furever Endeavour Rescue Network
- Comox Valley Photoshoot on select weekends in June/July/August with Fit Fido Furtography
- Inclusion in the Tails of the World Book

Why this project is so special…. The rescue’s that benefit from your donations.
Furever Endeavour Rescue Network, or “FERN” for short, is a registered and insured non-profit society founded in December 2022. Our team and adoption center are located in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island.
FERN’s goals in a nutshell: help local dogs who need rehoming, open our doors to homeless and abandoned animals, work with remote communities who might be struggling with overpopulation and collaborate with other local rescue organizations to build an effective and compassionate network."
Geelong Animal Welfare Society is dedicated to the welfare of companion animals. They care for and rehome lost or relinquished pets and provide community education & services that enable responsible animal ownership.
This beautiful book is a celebration of pets from around the world, with 100% of proceeds donated to Geelong animal welfare society.
These books will be available to purchase worldwide Nov 2025 and are NOT included in your donated session fee.

United in their mission to make a difference for pets in need and celebrate our universal love of dogs. To date, we have published over 40 books from all around the globe and raised over $170,000 for animal charities.
